Plan a visit to Narrative

Where and When

Narrative Church gathers every Sunday morning in the Chapel at the Texas District Mission Support Center. Worship starts at 10am but coffee is ready by 9:45. You can park anywhere around the building. Enter through the double glass doors located on the north side of the building.

You can also join us via live stream weekly.

What to expect

As you enter you will see the chapel straight ahead. If you are running a little behind, no worries! As you meet people, you will notice that attire varies - everything from jeans and a T-shirt to Sunday best. You can find a Connect QR Code on one of the tv screens. Scan the QR code and let us know you’ve joined us!

All of our worship and teaching centers around Jesus and His work for us. This is called the Gospel (ancient Greek for ‘good news’). As a church, we never want to assume that everyone knows the Gospel. Because of this, we proclaim it in our music, prayers, preaching, and celebration of the Lord’s Supper. Worship is not about what we can do for God. Rather, it is about what He has done and is doing for us. We are reminded of this in John 3:17: “For God did not send his Son [Jesus] into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” All that we do seeks to reflect the Gospel.

At Narrative Church, we follow a modern liturgy. This simply means that our church services follow a pattern of modern songs stylings, prayers, and Scripture readings, as well as a sermon and the Lord’s Supper. If you would like to know more about what this means, please feel free to email Pastor Ted at ted@narrative.church.

Kids

At Narrative, we love our kids. Because of this, we set some optional time aside just for them during the sermon. Some of our volunteers will escort them to a classroom across the hall, where they will share God’s love for them through Bible-based activities and teaching. These activities are designed for children aged four through twelve. The kids will return at the end of worship.

Every other week our middle school and high school students also go out for Bible Study together around the kitchen table at the back of the Chapel.
