Church Planting

It all started with an idea…

In the 2010s Faith Lutheran Church in Georgetown started the process of learning, discussing, and planning to plant a new church in the ever-growing region of Williamson County, TX. In 2014 they called Pastor Ted Doering from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis to come and start a new Gospel mission. From there Narrative Church was planted.

Now it’s our turn. Multiplication has always been a part of our cultural identity. In 2023 we will get a chance to step out in a new way of multiplication as we partner to plant a new mission start. The Harvest Partnership, a church planting and discipleship network, has called Pastor Mark Hunsaker and his wife Debbie to deploy them to work alongside Narrative as they begin the process of planting a new church. Mark and Debbie will join Narrative toward the end of August 2023. They will spend time in community at Narrative as they get to know Williamson County and pray to see exactly where this new mission will start.

Narrative will not be alone in this endeavor. The Harvest Partnership, along with local area churches, will be working alongside to bring capital (spiritual, relational, intellectual, physical, and financial) for this work.
