Directions to Hopewell

As you enter through the double doors you will be greeted and given directions to the cafeteria. If you are running a little behind, no worries! Just come on in through the double doors and take the first right down a ramp by the commons. The cafeteria will shortly be on your right. Come in and grab a cup of pour over coffee and meet some new people. As you mingle you will notice that people wear what they feel comfortable in at Narrative, from jeans and a T-Shirt to their Sunday best. You can fill out a connection card at the Connect center so that we can stay in touch with you and you can keep up with what is going on with Narrative.

All of our worship and teaching centers around Jesus and His work for us. This is called the Gospel (greek for Good News). As a church we never want to assume the Gospel, to think it is simply a known commodity. Because of this we proclaim it in our music, prayers, preaching, and celebration of the Lord’s Supper. Worship is not about what we can do for God, but instead what He has done for us. We are reminded of this in John 3:17, “For God did not send his Son [Jesus] into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” All that we do reflects the Gospel.

At Narrative Church we follow a modern liturgy. This simply means that we walk through certain aspects of worship each week. If you would like to know more about what this means, please feel free to email Pastor Ted,

At Narrative Church we love our Kids. Because of this we have a time set aside just for them during the sermon. Some of our loving volunteers will take them into the commons, right next to the cafeteria, and share God’s love for them through Bible based activities and teaching. If you happen to come on a 5th Sunday we will be having Family Worship. This means that we will keep the kids with us through the whole worship time.
